Daniel V. Rutkowski, CRNP-FNP
Dr. Michael A. Alexander is a family-practice trained physician, with a doctorate in osteopathic medicine. He has a sub-specialty in addiction medicine and an extensive background in behavioral health. Dr. Alexander has joined our practice to provide both internal medicine treatment and behavioral health medication management in our community.
Dr. A, as many clients affectionately refer to him, is also the owner and medical director of Five Star Medical Services in Ambridge, a clinic for recovery and substance abuse treatment, and holds the medical director position at two methadone clinics in Virginia. Dr. Alexander is a Beaver County native and has come back to our community to provide these much needed service to our area.

Dr. Michael A. Alexander, DO
Daniel has nearly 25 years of comprehensive medical experience including: emergency medicine, cardio-pulmonary/medical-surgical, and occupational health. His experience also includes board-certified psychiatric and mental health nursing for 10 years with a background in: Residential Treatment Facilities for children, adolescents, and young adults; Community Treatment for post-institutionalized adults in their neighborhoods, homes, and residences; and long-term mental health treatment in an LTSR environment.
Daniel received his Associate of Science degree in Nursing from the Community College of Beaver County, earning Phi Theta Kappa recognition for academic excellence, his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Slippery Rock University, and his Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Edinboro and Clarion Universities. He is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practioner from the American Association of Nurse Practioners. He has been married to his wonderful wife Lori for over 35 years, and has two grown children; Catherine and Daniel, and a son-in-law Roland Wolfgang. He currently resides in Brighton Township, Pa and enjoys spending time with my family, shooting sports and playing guitar.
